The search is on for one lucky girl or boy, in either 5th or 6th class, to become an RTÉ Weather Star.
The Weather Star winner will record a weather bulletin at the RTÉ studios which will air on RTÉ daytime TV.
The winner and his or her guardian will also enjoy a tour of the RTÉ studios, an overnight stay in Dublin and a two-night family adventure holiday at Delphi Resort.
All you have to do is write a short essay under the title 'Our Weather'. Essays, which should be no longer than 500 words, can be entered online at www.rte.ie/weatherstar/

The deadline for entry is 6th April.
If entering this competition by post, please make sure to include contact details for a parent/guardian.
Entrants need to be available for interview on RTÉ radio the week of the 10th April. The weather bulletin will be recorded on the week of 17th April. Date for tour of RTÉ studios will be arranged by RTÉ.
You must ask a parent/guardian for permission before you enter the competition.
